Thank you for considering HM Commercial Laundry. We've been a UniMac authorized dealer since 1989, serving NJ, eastern PA, NYC, and Delaware. Before we can issue firm pricing or factory lead times on orders over $25,000 (or any 3+ unit order), we ask buyers to confirm the items below. This protects you, protects us, and ensures the equipment lands at the right site, on the right utilities, on schedule.
1 Business Identity
Please provide the following so we can invoice correctly and confirm we're transacting with the actual business:
- Company's legal name and registered business address
- EIN (or a completed W-9 for US businesses)
- Primary contact name, title, and direct phone number
For LLCs and corporations, we'll run a brief Secretary of State good-standing check. This takes us under 10 minutes and is standard for any factory-direct UniMac order.
2 Project & Install Details
Tell us about the project so we can spec correctly:
- Install address (the physical site where the equipment will operate)
- Type of facility (hotel, hospital, laundromat, OPL, fire department, multi-family, etc.)
- Target install or go-live date
- General contractor, property manager, or facilities engineer contact (if applicable)
Install sites must be within our standard service area: New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, New York City, and Delaware. If your project is outside that area, please call us — we still want to talk, we'll just need to discuss freight and install partner arrangements.
3 Site & Utilities Confirmation
For orders this size we require a brief phone consultation with a decision-maker (~15 minutes) — or, preferred for local NJ/NY/PA/DE projects, a complimentary on-site walk. We use it to confirm:
- Electric service available (208V / 240V / 480V, single or 3-phase)
- Steam availability and pressure, or whether electric heat is required
- Water supply and drain configuration (gravity drain, pump-out, trench)
- Delivery access (loading dock, freight elevator, door clearances)
- Footprint, ventilation, and any structural considerations for softmount or large-chassis equipment
Most installation problems we've seen over 37+ years come from skipping this step. We don't skip it.
4 Payment Terms
Standard payment terms for new-customer large orders:
- 50% deposit by wire transfer at order placement
- Balance due by wire transfer prior to delivery
- Wires must clear and settle for 5 business days before the factory production order is placed
- NET 30 terms are available for established customers with 6+ months of purchase history
We do not accept the following on orders over $10,000: credit cards, personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, or third-party payment apps. This is for your protection as much as ours — wire transfers are the only payment method that reliably clears at this scale.
5 Delivery & Installation
We deliver and install factory-direct UniMac equipment to the install address you provide on your purchase order. Standard terms:
- No third-party freight forwarders, port shipments, or drop-shipments outside our service area
- No re-labeling, repackaging, or international export arrangements
- Delivery is to the install address only — not to warehouses, storage facilities, or PO boxes
- Installation is performed by HM Commercial Laundry's certified UniMac technicians (or, by prior written arrangement, a UniMac-approved partner on out-of-territory projects)
6 Lead Time & Quote Validity
Current factory lead times from UniMac after deposit clears:
- Standard production: 4 – 8 weeks depending on model and capacity
- Limited rush availability on stocked SKUs — call us to confirm
- Written quotes are valid for 14 days from issue, after which we re-confirm factory pricing
Ready to move forward?
Email items 1 & 2 above to tzvi@hmservicetech.com, or call us directly. We'll schedule the site/phone consult and have a written quote in your hands within 24 hours of receiving complete information.
Why we publish these terms
HM Commercial Laundry has been installing UniMac equipment in New Jersey since 1989. We're an actual operating dealer and service company — not a referral site, not a drop-shipper — and we stake our reputation on every install going smoothly. Buyers who appreciate published, transparent terms tend to be the buyers we work with for decades. If any of the items above are dealbreakers for your project, we'd rather have that conversation now than after a deposit changes hands.
